About

Having recently passed the New York State Universal Bar Exam, I am in the final stages of obtaining my license, gaining pro bono experience as a legal intern at Florida Rural Legal Services, a nonprofit firm dedicated to assisting underserved communities with complex legal issues. As a dual American-Canadian citizen with a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Belfast and a series of legal internships across major cities in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., I am eager to bring my international perspective and diverse skill set to a leading global law firm in New York City.My experience spans legal, real estate, and corporate sectors, leading to strong capabilities in project coordination, client relations, and document management. As a licensed real estate professional, I cultivated an understanding of transactional law, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific legal challenges. In my current role, I assist litigation attorneys with discovery and trial preparation while participating in legal clinics and training across various litigation and transactional practice areas, including family law, housing, and domestic abuse. My Juris Doctor and undergraduate honours degree in history and political science from McGill University honed my skills in research, analysis, and communication. I have synthesized complex technical, legal, and policy information in my postgraduate research dissertation addressing healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and legal reform, and I am published in several undergraduate journals.Following law school, I had the opportunity to travel across multiple continents as a caddy and player manager for an Irish professional golfer on the DP World Tour, which has strengthened my cultural agility, resilience, and adaptability.I am drawn to international, multidisciplinary firms that serve a varied client base, where I can leverage my diverse skill set and background to add value. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and am eager to apply my analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic problem-solving abilities in a well-respected firm where I can establish and grow my long-term career.
